Uniform

We are keen to encourage children to wear the appropriate school uniform and feel pride in their appearance.

The school colours are green, white and grey.

The uniform includes:

  • green blazers (optional)
  • green and yellow striped tie (optional)
  • white shirt (short or long sleeved)
  • green sweatshirts or cardigans
  • grey skirt/pinafore/trousers/shorts
  • grey/white socks or tights
  • green & white summer dresses (optional)

In PE children should wear:

  • green shorts (without pockets for safety reasons)
  • white tee-shirts
  • plimsolls
  • Footwear

Plimsolls (not trainers) should always be worn for indoor PE unless working in bare feet
at all other times children should wear school shoes of a standard design (not trainers) – for safety reasons, pumps, slingbacks, open toes, and high heels should be avoided (i.e. ‘fashion’ shoes should not be worn in school).

School uniform is available from Broadbridges, 2 Sussex Road, Haywards Heath, RH 16 4EA telephone number 01444 413466 or www.broadbridges.co.uk. However, as a school, we encourage purchases from supermarkets and other local retailers. There is no expectation to have branded products.

No jewellery, other than plain stud (not hoop) earrings (one in each ear only) should be worn to school. Earrings should be removed or covered for PE. Please provide your child with a supply of sticking plasters or plaster tape for this purpose. Nail varnish should not be used at school.
